The Daily News Online ran a nice article about Cynthia Appleton’s candidacy for the 59th Senate District in New York. The piece, called “59th District Senate: Food, politics mix at Democratic HQ”, said, in part:

Food and campaigning mixed Thursday night as State Senate candidate Cynthia Appleton hosted a meet-and-greet session at her headquarters on Main Street.

The evening combined with a baked goods sale to benefit her campaign. And along the way, she got to chat with those interested in the race.

“It’s going really well,” she said. “I just came from Buffalo where we had a Buffalo Rotary Club debate this afternoon. I think the campaign’s going very, very well.”
